Still have questions?
What software do I need?
You'll need a scanner or a way to get your images into a .JPG format first. I use Adobe Photoshop CC2015, but you could use Photoshop Elements or a lower version of Adobe Photoshop. If you have an alternate photo editing software you will probably be able to do most of what I do. The only thing that might be questionable is how I use the Levels Adjustments in Photoshop, but then that isn't always a necessary step. Finally, you WILL need Adobe Illustrator CS6 and higher to use my vectoring steps.
How long do I have access to the course?
How does lifetime access sound? After enrolling, you have unlimited access to this course for as long as you like - across any and all devices you own.
Do I need to know Photoshop & Illustrator?
While I'm not going to teach you HOW to use these software programs, you should have some familiarity with how to navigate through the software (like where the tools are and the menu). I don't expect you to be an expert, but I think it's important to have a basic understanding of how they work. I will actually take you through my scanning and vectoring process, step-by-step, so you could potentially do this course without knowing everything about the software.
Can I use this course with calligraphy or other hand lettering projects?
Absolutely! It's the same technique. I just happen to teach a brush lettering e-course and focus a lot on brush lettering on my blog. So please interchange the words as needed!
